A Muted St. Patrick’s Day

Seven along the coast of the Celtic Sea, the sky nearly free of clouds and ready to welcome the sun, the air tame and carrying a manageable chill, two rooks busy on a roof across the lane, the collared dove fluting its signature tune in alto, and it’s a muted St. Patrick’s Day.
