Visible Masts of Normalcy

Nearing half eight along the coast of the Celtic Sea, the signature gray of an early March morning infused through all the air from the ridge over the harbor to the town and cottage, the coffee sweet and sharp, and the news not so bad, with Covid deaths down and vaccinations up and a properly cautious government offering intimations that life will be much closer to normal by summer.
